Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Based on Luke 2:52, our K-5th grade classes offer creative, kid-targeted, large group story-telling & small group application activities during both hours to help these K- 5th grade elementary kids grow in faith and learn what it means to be a “special agent” for Christ in today’s world.
Families partner with us in spiritual training as their kids worship with them during the first service hour before being dismissed directly from the sanctuary before the sermon to join SBkids.
What are the procedures for check-in and out?
First, visit the Children’s Ministry Check-In table in the Sanctuary foyer to register your child and obtain a “Safekey” security sticker. You will be given a pick-up card/sticker that matches the sticker on your child to ensure a secure pickup. When your family makes a decision to attend StoneBridge regularly, you may request a permanent “Safekey” tag and eliminate the need to check in at the foyer desk.
How do I know where to take and my child?
If you arrive for the 9:00AM service. . .
your child will attend the first part of the worship service with you! Just before the sermon, the children will be dismissed as a group and escorted to the Fellowship Hall for creative storytelling and small group activities.
If you arrive for the 10:30AM service – you will be given a map at the foyer desk to locate your child’s grade level Sunday school room in our educational building.
What are the procedures for pickup?
After both service hours, elementary children can be picked up in their grade level Sunday school room after utilizing the parent pickup card/sticker.
How does StoneBridge partner with parents?
When you sign up for a permanent "Safekey" tag, you will begin receiving our monthly email and mailed Parent Cue card which will give you the "Life App" and memory verse we are learning at church. You can use these to lead short discussions with your child in the car or around the dinner table. After you have been attending StoneBridge for awhile, we love to have parents serve as a substitute helper periodically in their child’s classroom so you can experience SBkids along with your child.
